Do you know how much water your tree needs? If you are thinking of buying a tree and you have an idea of where you would like to put the tree, consider researching how much water the tree you're looking at buying needs before you buy the tall green tree. If you why that large bark covered bush-like relative, and you put it in a place where it receives a great deal more clear natural water then it needs, then you can actually cause your tree to die by getting too much water ie. drowning.
It's hard to imagine a tree drowning because we don't see trees breathing. tree roots. It might be helpful to imagine that the in-ground legs, the foundations of trees are very much like our mouths. How is this? Well our mouths have to maintain a certain amount of moisture in order to function with any amount of efficiency. also our mouths are also how we receive our air, that is, it is how we breathe, how we get the oxygen that we need. Now if we clog our mouths with any substance (air not included), then we are at risk of not being able to breathe, not being able to get the air/oxygen that we need in order to survive and even thrive in our daily lives. In this way trees are similar. If tree roots get more water oh, that is they become more moist then they can handle, then there airways are clogged they cannot breathe anymore and therefore they pass away, they die.
